How could God allow this to happen? Was it an act of judgment upon our nation? Why?
These are questions with no answers. Furthermore, they are not really questions as much as they are statements. They express our dismay, anger and confusion.

Good grief

When the sky falls in on your life, it is good to make room for grief. When grief comes to visit, the stay is usually extended. Embrace the struggle of healing, as painful as it may be.

A new kind of prayer

Words fall short. The Spirit interprets when we cannot even make sense of our feelings and needs (Romans 8). Pray the prayer of silence, trusting the Spirit to do the praying.
